Waaaaay way back in March 2011 when we started 30 Days of Lists we were praying and [...]]]> If you haven’t yet, make sure you click over to register for March’s 30 Days of Lists … and then come back to this email ’cause I have a little story for you (and a giveaway opportunity).

Waaaaay way back in March 2011 when we started 30 Days of Lists we were praying and hoping and crossing our fingers to get maybe 100 Listers to come join our challenge.

We emailed bloggers and bought ads and did everything we could to meet as many Listers as we could. That very first round of #30Lists doesn’t have an exact number (since registration was required) but I think we were all surprised and gratified to find that we had several hundred visits every day to the site!

The following 3 rounds of 30 Days of Lists, our registered Listers grew and grew. First time around 300, then closer to 400, and last September’s we had just over 500 registered Listers by the end of September!!

(Not even counting all of you who have grabbed the self-paced versions in the last few weeks)

And now, for March 2013 – the 2nd anniversary of the beginning – we are still just as excited and in love with this project as we were at the beginning. Kam and I worked late hours in the weeks leading up to registration, finalizing design work, collecting the free printables from sponsors (available once you’re registered) and scheduling the REGISTER NOW email!!

….. and then we kind of surprised ourselves by reaching 300 registered Listers for March 2013 in just over 48 hours!

CAN.NOT.BELIEVE.IT.

We are so grateful for your support and excitement and infectious looking-forward-to-listing-in-March that we have chosen to do another giveaway as a thank you.

As of the typing of this post, we have more than 500 Listers registered. Which is AWESOME!! But we really think there are more Listers out there who would love to hear about 30 Days of Lists and join the challenge!

So between those of you who have been putting off registering, and the others of you who have already registered and are encouraging your friends and readers to join, we think we can hit the next big milestone.

We’d love for you to join us in March for another round of 30 Days of Lists. Another quick journaling challenge. Another opportunity to record YOUR STORY.

Not everyone can make a mini scrapbook every week or an art journal page every night.

30 Days of Lists is our encouragement and challenge to you that you CAN journal just something every day- even something as small as a list.

Every day through the month of March 2013 we will be posting a list prompt – anything from weekend goals to celebrity crushes. At the end of the 30 days you’ll have a collection of entries creating a small snapshot of your life right now.

Only 5-10 minutes per day are really needed. While you’re waiting for someone, or when you’re the passenger in the car. You can even download the list topics ahead of time to get a jump start!

That’s all.

Just write.

There’s no wrong way to do this and if you don’t like a prompt on a certain day, just change it.

What does registration include?

Once you register you will receive an automatically downloadable file giving you access to the private blog for March 2013’s 30 Days of Lists.

The #30Lists challenge blog is open immediately (and will remain available for at least a year).

Upon logging in, you’ll have immediate access to:

• private forum just for March #30Lists participants
• printable downloads with ALL of March’s list topics (for those of you who want the topics ahead of time)

Throughout February, we’ll introduce:

• tutorial on adding images to the Flickr group
• tutorial on using the #30Lists hashtag for Instagram

The daily list prompts won’t start until March 1st, but you can trust us when we say that it’s an excellent idea to check the private blog regularly between now and then for tutorials, updates, and maybe a giveaway or two.

Things to do with your LISTS:

• Add one list weekly to your Project Life layouts. Those 3×4 pockets are the perfect size for a quickly jotted list of memories or things in your life
• Blog your lists – daily, weekly, monthly. Put them out there and be amazed at how much your readers have in common with you.
• Make a minibook or Blurb book full of your lists. Perfect format for kids or guests to flip through on the coffee table and bond over your list of favorite childhood memories.
• Art journal, digi-design or just write them down. Share them on Instagram or Twitter or Facebook or the Flickr group or your social media outlet of choice.
• Just write them for yourself. Not everything has to be shared – sometimes private journaling of lists can be the most rewarding.
